Amy's Team Day-California

Hey there it's me again. Today is a special day. It's the official Amy's Team-California Day! My family planned a big potluck/BBQ/Swim party. Everyone is coming to visit me and I'm looking forward to another great day.

My first few days here, I was quite sleepy from some medicine I was taking. Now that we've adjusted it, I'm up and running. On Thursday, I went swimming with my cousins and my dad. It was a good time, but I'm not sure my mom appreciated when I soaked her with the water hose. We all had a good laugh about it, so I'm sure she's not mad about it...anymore.

After relaxing in the California sunshine I headed to Market Night in Redlands with my cousins Leah and Kaleen. We walked up and down the street and checked out the vendors and sampled all the fruit. At one point, Leah and Kaleen tried to convince me to get a tattoo, but I resisted for the time being. Instead, we settled for some fresh Kettle Corn. As for yesterday, Aunt Vicky came to visit and had me laughing with stories about my Uncle Mike. Then the whole family piled in a bunch of cars and headed to Lucy's Mexican Food for dinner. Not only did I have a good dinner, but I came home with some bags of Bunuelos (cinnamon crisps). Yum!

Now for a funny story...

The day we got here, we were at Wal Mart when I spotted a very nice lady walking by with tattoos on her _____. Well let's just say, in an inappropriate place. For the purposes of keeping this blog G rated, we'll use the term "cleavage". No joke, two big stars right there on each side of her..."cleavage". My response to seeing this spectacle was, "Wow, that's attractive. I'm gonna get me some of those!" This of course had my cousin's Heath, Tina, Leah, and Kaleen crackin' up in the store. As a result of that Wal Mart incident, everyone keeps talking about the lady with the cleavage tattoos. Even better, yesterday, my aunt Ruth decided to entertain me by putting on two temporary tattoos. Hilarious! When she wants to make me laugh, she walks by and flashes them at me. Oh my gosh, she gets me laughing all over again! She might be a nut, but boy she'll do anything to make me happy.

I'll write again soon.

Love,

Amy
